I will try that on the google chrome app. That's how I view web pages. Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate it.

Hey, while you are in the area, check out the Mt. Evans Scenic Byway--I've been to both multiple times and I actually think I prefer Mt Evans. If you are busy, it is a similar experience, but less "touristy" and more likely to run into wildlife.
EDIT: Doggoneit! closed for the season already.

Glad you got to go up Pikes Peak. I haven't been up there since before grade school. But I have bicycled up Mt. Evans. What an experience that was!!! But it sounds like you're having a great adventure.

Good advice on B mode. We had almost as big of a descent two weeks ago coming down from Clingman's Dome in Great Smokey NP. I wondered how a normal Prius would do. Our PiP filled the battery a little before we got all the way down and we had to use B mode for a few miles off and on.

And, Trail Ridge Road across Rocky Mountain National Park--One evening, I was there just before sundown and climbed the overlook over the Alpine Visitor center (the top end of the Alpine Ridge Trail)--Absolutely beautiful! What a sunset! Also really neat to see the ridge shadow on the mountains to the east! Probably getting a little cold, about now.

The lung cancer really limits what I can do in the heat! This is really the best weather for me to do stuff. I will go check it out! Thank you so much for the awesome suggestions!

I live in the (filled) swamps in Louisiana (literally 3 feet below seal level), but there is nothing better than hiking in the clean mountain air in Colorado and Montana (go there EVERY chance I get :)) Be careful with the high altitude, the Alpine Visitors Center is "the highest facility of its kind in the National Park Service" at just about 12,000 ft. That overlook trail is a bunch of steps up the hillside with an occasional bench to rest. Have fun!

Didn't Toyota once a long time ago, provide new Prius owners with a CD that contained sounds they were likely to hear and encounter from their new Prius?

I'm not saying this is wise, but when I first got my Prius? I told myself one of the things I was going to do, was ignore any random clicks, buzzing or other sounds. I knew I could freak myself out worrying about it, and that they were most likely "normal" and I figured if anything was really a problem...it would get worse and undeniable.

That being said, My Gen 3 Prius was one of the quietest vehicles I have ever owned.
Or maybe I'm just getting older now and my hearing is deteriorating...that's about a 50/50 bet.

Has anyone put a million miles on a Prius? Did they only change the transaxle fluid once?
