Entune - Why Aren't There More Complaints on Here?

there are lots of complaints, it is the priuschat search engine that is the problem. try searching google.
you are well supported in your misery.
entire is proprietary, no one has been able to hack it. it is easier to put in a new head unit, and a good reason to buy the plus model.

I destroyed Toyota in the survey they sent me after buying my Prime. Entune is one of the worst infotainment systems on the market right now, I just wish our opinions mattered with them.

 

It sucks but it really doesn't bother me. All my entertainment is streamed from my phone (audiobooks, podcasts, music etc...) so as long as the bluetooth works, I am fine.

 

There must be a million complaints about Entune. I took one look and decided that my phone is infinitely better. And it's closer to my line of sight anyway. Here's the phone mount I use. I'm satisfied with it, but I see that it's not available now.

 

It's terrible. I tried to use it, but kept on returning to my iphone or my Garmin.

 

On long trips like the one I just took to Ohio, I like to use the phone and the Garmin. It's fun when they argue with each other.

 

It's so bad nobody uses it, so nobody complains.

 

Looks like Toyota is blocking reviews on the Android Entune app on the play store. I guess they are trying to limit the bad reviews. Anyone on priuschat able to review? I can't.

 

Entune is a joke and getting worse. On my ‘15 Prius I could at least use Pandora. On my advanced I always get “insufficient connection” even when I’m full bars LTE so I need to open it on my phone and play it via Bluetooth or usb.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I have owned my Prius prime advanced for going on six months now, nearly 11,000 miles. It is a wonderful car in nearly every way except the Entune 11.6 screen and system, What an absolute joke! I too am a techy and an owner of an audiovisual business going on 30+ years old. I have full-time techs who work with me, Toyota did not design this to be intuitive. Of all the electronic cars I test drove, this system doesn’t even qualify. Tesla, Ford, and even Chevy, all blew the doors off of Toyota on this one.
