    Thank you for your kind congratulations! It never occurred to me to have an Android phone with no plan attached to it. Great idea!

    Yes, if you ask your friends, someone probably has an older Android phone collecting dust in a drawer somewhere and will be happy to give it a new lease on life. You don't need a very powerful one, but one with as new a version of Android as possible is best.
