As the car is so quiet I’ve noticed an really annoying rattle from around the center white section near the centre cup holders. Anyone found the same and a fix ?
What car are you talking about? (you show "Other Hybrid" as your car). Is it a new car, or a high-mileage car?
Welcome to Prius Chat @Jimmy6616 I've not experienced that with my Business Edition. Alan was referring to your profile which lists your car as another hybrid, ie not a Prius.
I'd be talking to your dealer - but first double check that nothing has slipped under the seat etc - unlikely at 3 wks old, but, you never know. A long time ago ('96 ish), we took out Mazda 323, about 18 mths old to the dealer for service and told them there was a rattle near the centre console. When I went to pick it up, they handed me my son's Ferrari - woops: (not the actual car)
And it was super reliable. They were super rare here at that stage - a couple of years before I worked out of my home town, and I was delighted - sort-of - to see a Ferrari 3 times there. I suspect the same one. Twice with the engine cover open - the other on the end of a tow-rope. Never saw or heard it driving.
No - apparently it was the real deal. It was in 1989 when I kept seeing it, but it was nowhere near new. Pity I didn't get it's model.
One common source of rattle/buzz on the centre console on any car is the seat belt socket, it should have a small piece of insulation stuck to it, between the socket and the console, that can get dislodged by the clasp when you miss as you're putting it in the socket (or it may be missing).
I found my rattle to be the front passenger side speaker grill. Press it down and wedge a piece of plastic or thick paper on one edge. iPhone ?
