I just purchased a 2015 plug-in yesterday with the green decal already applied on it. Am I no longer eligible to apply for the red decal after the green expires? Feeling pretty bummed out because having HOV access was the main reason why I purchased the car. Thanks for any clarification.
I dont think you are totally out of luck. Just apply for the new decal as if you never know when the first time this Green Decal was issued. If they are mistaken OR the green decal was issued in 2017/2018, you will get next 4 years decal. Good luck
