Ok.. was only able to add one thing... FYI.. For a 2015 Prius model 2, the steering wheel cover needs to be around 14 inches...I had a recommended one of 15-15 1/2, but WAY TOO BIG !!! Also, I want to install a usb dual adapter in the tray under neath the shifter.. It measures about 1 1/16 of an inch.. Again, I bought the "recommended" ones of EBAY and they are about 1 3/8 inches.. so way to big.. I'll include the pictures of the panel removed,, Pretty easy.. and the measurement of the "plug" that is in there..
Looks like you take good advantage of your locale. I live in Fairfield and do the same thing. How long have you owned your PIP and how many miles are on it? Keep enjoying your PIP .
oh..well... No pictures, but trust me when I say: replaced interior/license plate halogen bulbs with LED's.... whew...
Picked up our new 2018 Prius Prime Tech in North Bay. Fantastic car - it's our first into electric hybrid. Lots to learn. One thing I did learn today is no connectivity apps on the Canadian version. Kind of sucks but it sits in our garage so no biggie for charging etc. Not alot of driving yet but have used 0 gas today. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Two weeks into my new 2018 Prius Prime and I'm averaging 107MPG for my commute to work! Picked up some new wheels/tires for my Advanced, 17x7.5 +40mm Motegi Racing MR139 on 215-45-R17 Nitto Motivo, upgrading to factory roof racks for my MTB in the spring.
AWESOME!!!!! I wish I wouldn't have but tires for mine when I bought it, cause I can't afford to buy rims and "new tires" to fit cool rims ....!!
OK..couple small add on's.. Still working on installing a dual USB port next to the cig lighter under the shifter area.. Mr. Dremel working overtime !! 1) removed the blue hybrid decal on the door rocker chrome (had to use WD40 to get all the glue off). 2) removed the blue hybrid emblem from the right side of the trunk. yes mine had two "pegs" and so I had two holes to deal with.Luckily the emblem I put on covers up the holes, so no problem there... carefully used the WD40 again, but didn't seem to get 100% of the glue off..hhmmm or maybe the "paint" under the emblem was just not consistant ANY IDEAS HOW TO GET THIS GLUE OFF THE PAINT ??? I did try alcohol pads, but wouldn't even touch the glue !!!! 3) installed chrome trunk skid plate.. again, had to use the Dremel tool to make the trunk latch pass it without scraping so much. no problem.
