I apologize if a thread like this already exists. I couldn’t find a thread showing various items in the back of a Prius C to show how (or if) they fit, much less the specific item I may need to transport periodically.

Thus, for the benefit of future Prius C owners, you may wish to post photos of some specific items not shown elsewhere online.

Pictured is a “Drive Rollator” walker. It’s a very tight fit side-to-side, but it can be collapsed another 3 inches to fit more easily. It probably needs to be secured to the child seat mounting points on the backside of the rear seat to keep it from bouncing around.

I’d appreciate seeing photos of folding bikes, especially with 20”-26” wheels, as I’m not sure if they fit with the rear seat up.

The idea was to simply have some reference photos available online for people who need to know whether this little car will actually fit some of the things they need to carry. Entertainment not implied or guaranteed.

I love seeing what people move in their Prius vehicles.
Somebody (@john1701a ?) puts several in his Prime.

This is a “Tern Link C8.” It has 20” wheels and folds in a very typical way, like a Dahon.

As you can see, it doesn’t fit one way, but flipped around and leaned over, it fits fine. No greasy parts touch the carpet or seat, but I’d want to strap it to the baby seat anchors to be sure it doesn’t take out the back window. I cannot see a 24” wheeled bike or larger fitting without folding the seat down or removing at least one wheel.

I should take that last comment back. It’s probably well worth trying a larger wheeled folding bicycle to see if it fits.

Has anyone ever seen a wheelchair in a Prius C?

The largest item I've hauled around in my 'c' was a 55" LED TV...still in the box. Although it lay flat, both rear seats needed to be folded down (obviously) and both front seats needed to be pushed as far forward as they could while still allowing me room to drive the car with the rear hatch closed. It was a VERY tight fit...I'm not exactly tall or short...5'10", but I usually have the driver's seat pushed almost all the way back. But that one time, the seat was so far forward, my knees were scrunched up against the dashboard, though I could still move my legs enough to operate the pedals safely. The one thing I worried about most was being in an accident...being so close to the steering wheel and dashboard probably was not safe since if the airbags deployed, it likely might kill me being that close. Sorry I don't have a pic of me inside with the TV. Although I don't have a wheelchair, my parents do...pretty sure I would have to put down the rear seats in order to fit it in the 'c'.

    G'day,
Here's some bikes in our 'c'. These fitted easily also in the Echo the Prius 'c' has replaced.

    G'day,
I've just carried a three-quarter double bass (in its carrying case) interstate - about 900km in two days - in our Prius c.
Folded down the back seats and nestled the head between the front seats. Only a short protrusion into the front seat space with neither driver nor passenger adversely affected.
Packed up with quilts, cushions and our travel bags to restrict movement during the trip.

Arrived in good condition having hardly shifted during the trip despite a few sharp brakings in the city sections.
