was it just me, or was most of what cnet focused on not really "new"? the 06 had a higher resolution screen for the MFD, the cluster panel hasn't really changed, the steering wheel hasn't changed, the parking assist has been out on display for quite a while now. if you ask me, the best thing they did was the first picture, showing the (IMO) much improved wheel trim. no more PlaySkool plastic!

It isn't the 2007 Prius, it's the 2006. I'm not sure why it was given te 2007 label. How do I know? This has been out for a while.

It looks like "06" all over again. That's not a bad thing. At least ours aren't instantly obsolete. Would like to hear more about Touring suspension. I like our wheels better (minus the trim rings).

Yeah, I thought it was odd when they mentioned that an audio jack had been added to the center console. Well, that happened in the 2006 model, right? Wouldn't think of that as a "new" feature for a 2007. I've been posting on other forums as well about CNET, their coverage on a good number of things lately has really been lacking, and in some cases seems downright inaccurate. Don't know what's happened, but they seem to be going downhill...

Anyway, that Prius sure is purty. Always interesting to see what changes they make in the new models, though I won't be in the market to upgrade until at least 2008 when the li-ion batteries come into play, maybe even a year or two to see how those work out.

So the cluster panel has the shifter info on the left in the 06 as well? Damn, my 04 feels old now =(

That's not the '07 but recycled info for the '06. The AUX jack is in the '06, and the auto-parking feature is not available for the '06 in the US (but is available elsewhere). *sigh*

It's still basically the 2003 Japanese Prius with the plastic 16" wheels and which already had the Touring Edition, IPA, etc etc in 2003.

Only things really new is the Gen-5 nav system, and aux-in.
