HV battery maintenance

    Would like to clean battery fan and inspect area.

    Couldn’t find an applicable thread to this

    Any threads out there ?

    I don't know much about the C, but based on this video,
    , it looks like everything is under the back seat, and should be easier to access than it is on either the Gen 2 or Gen 3 Liftback. Also, it appears to have a screen with a fine enough mesh that not too much would get through, although this video and one other one show a pretty thick collection of dust that gathers on the screen. Perhaps scraping that off is all you really need to do with the C.

    The fan screen can be accessed without removing the seat. Just pop off the driver side kick plate. Mine Looked like a clothes dryer's lint screen after 6 years.

    Was hoping for a more exact plan.
    Is cpl videos on the net

    I’m worried of busting the plastic clips that hold plastic piece in place. Cleaning shouldn’t be an issue
    Don’t have access to owners manual at this moment, at work. And researching during work, is smart work !

    As for the little clips. Just get a small screwdriver (flathead) and the center of those pins will pull forward. Don't worry about breaking them - if you do a very similar clip can be found at nearly any autoparts store that would function just as well.
