I have had a Prius Prime Advanced for about two months. When new, the backup camera image covered the top half of the screen. Recently, it is only on the top third. I measured it as 3 3/8" from top to bottom while the screen is 10" from top to bottom. Any idea how to get it back the way it was?
OK, I am going to ask this question again, in a different way. I think that my backup camera image covered the top half of the screen and now only covers the top third. Went to my local Toyota dealer and spent some time in the service department, about two hours and was treated quite well. Bottom line, the nice person't Service Manager says that is the way it is supposed to be. Although they haven't stocked any, he says he has seen the Prime and the picture only covered the top third of the screen. Is he right? Can anyone with a Premium or Advanced verify this?
Thanks for that. Not sure why I assumed it was originally larger. Now I know why nobody ventured a guess on how to make it bigger.
I just saw my dealer about this today. I could have sworn that the backup camera took up the WHOLE screen when I backed up. But a week or so ago the navigation system crashed and after that it only used the top third. I think it looks terrible to have the rest of the screen blank. Does anyone have proof that it can take up the whole screen? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Nop, it has always taken only top third of the screen, though don't know about your Prime, but at least for mine.
