What could this noise be from inverter pump 2009 Prius

    What could this noise be on a 2009 Prius with 224,340 miles? Its coming from inverter pump. I see wave in reservoir, looks like coolant is circulating. Is it on its way out? How can i fix? Lol. Thanks.

    No, that is not the inverter coolant pump, that is the 3-way coolant control valve. You need to replace it.

    I haven’t done one myself, but I don’t think it is hard and the part is not overly expensive.
