It could be news, sports, whatever... This line is usually sports related..... "That youngster's future is all ahead of him" Ok..... where exactly would his future be?
"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!" h34r:
"False start, before the snap" When the hell else are you going to have a false start? After the snap?!?!?!?!
Back when I used to listen to all news AM radio, the four or five minute sessions with John Madden always made me cringe in empathetic embarrassment. If Madden ever spent even half a minute preparing his talks ahead of time I missed it because every talk I ever heard was the most banal, boring, unprepared meandering string of incoherent syllables I'd ever heard from a public (and presumably highly paid) speaker. It clearly showed Madden had ZERO respect for both his employers and his audience that he considered a even little advance preparation beneath him. I don't follow sports; have never been interested in sports, and all Madden accomplished was to prove to me how wonderful it was that I didn't have any interest in the subject because he made whatever he blathered on about sound like the most dreary, uninspiring, tedious endeavor an unfortunate human could get depressed about. I was always relieved when the advertising finally cut him off, and I despise and loathe advertising (which is why I don't listen to AM news anymore, and so thankfully haven't heard a Madden talk in several blissful Maddenless years). Has Madden EVER said anything that just arrested you with its insight, wit, or inside knowledge? If so, I'll wager it wasn't Madden doing the talking but someone else you mistook for him. I bet he/she wishes he/she had that one to do over.... do ya think so? I thought everyone likes to look like an idiot on TV.....
Anything that includes the word "coed." I've worked at a university for 8 years and have never heard anybody on campus used that word. News announcers, on the other hand, really seem to love it. It's terribly outdated.
"Back to Back and Belly to Belly" "Bernie hits one out, Burn baby Burn" "An A-bomb for A-Rod" Yankees suck.
Head On Head On Head On Head On Head On Head On Head On I will NEVER buy that product! What are they trying to do, increase sales by giving us headaches from watching the commercial? Funny: http://consumerist.com/consumer/youtube/re...head-189065.php
Newspeople doing the news in "headlines" present tense (or whatever the heck it's called) - "A man dies on a downtown streetcorner this morning." "A bicyclist fails his drug test yesterday afternoon." Aaaaugh!

Thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeees WIN!!!!        or the 15th out leadin to a Geico commercial or ressurecting Matsui from the disabled list to pretend there is a leadin to a Benihana commercial.
