Recently changed out the factory Goodyear tires for a set of Michelin Energy Savers. What a difference!

The Prius was kind of noisy and not very comfortable as the Goodyears IMO are not a very good tire.

The Michelin tires are a whole new ball game. Very quite. Very comfortable. Makes the Prius into a different car.

Little tip......when getting new tires, make sure you give the installer a bottle of 303 protectant. This stuff is amazing. Have him before he mounts the tires on the rims, spray the inside of the tires. When you get home at night, spray the outside of the tires, including the tread. Let it sit for about 12 hours. You need to coat the outside of the tires every three months or so. Only need to do the inside of the tires once.

I was made aware of this stuff from a friend who uses 303 on his tires and has tires that have had almost no tread wear and ride like the day they were new, with over 130,000 miles on those tires! The 303 protects the tires from dry rot and also makes them less prone to wear without affecting traction. Also works great on the rubber boots on CV joints which commonly fail and cause CV replacement due to dirt infiltration. Makes everything rubber or plastic last. Highly recommended.

I gave my installer a bottle of Bacardi 151. I think your choice is better.

Energy Saver. The A/S or all season has a more aggressive tread and so it is a bit louder.
