I've read that some cars don't work with 2 devices on the port at the same time. Recently I tried my Bluetooth OBDII and Progressive Insurance Snapshot device at the same time from a splitter or Y-cable from Amazon. Didn't work. Errors from both. Tried each individually where the 2nd jack was empty and both worked. Together, no go. Got my money back from Amazon and ordered another one, more expensive that has switches for each leg, so I can individually turn on or off the 2 jacks. It's currently in motion, but I'm curious if others have had success. Gen 2 owners have had success. Thread - > Multiple Devices Plugged into OBD2? | PriusChat Gen 1..... ?? Anybody here?
This is the one that didn't work. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00EEDOWU8?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title This is the one on order. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M5G9KS0
The 2nd one doesn't work either with 2x OBDII devices plugged in at the same time. At least with this new one, I can keep them all plugged in, and just switch between them with the switches.
