Well overdue first HV battery fan cleaning at 115,500 miles. :p Surprisingly wasn’t that bad considering my corgi pup sheds a lot. Will clean every 20-30k miles now to prevent any overheating issues.

that is correct. the air struts alone are around 1800 or so alone. the management is another cost with that. me personally I run a 5 gallon (or was it 4 i'm not even sure since mine was 2nd hand) tank w/ air lift version 2 w/ dual compressors in total is around 4k or almost 4k.

Plus install. So about 5k installed (if brand new)

No one is doing anything cool to the prius today?? At work all day looking for some cool stuff to see and read but I see nothing! Haha I couldn't even get by the bodyshop on Friday to get my stuff so hopefully I can Monday!

Well I liked the cleaning of the fan in the rear seat. I should probably do that as well.

LED signals and LED compatible flasher. No hyperflash here. Sylvania 7440A twin packs. Dang what a PITA to get the flasher out. Just tucked the new one back up behind a wiring harness. Not even worried about remounting it. I did manage on the third try to snap a shot of the lights on unlock.

Good thing you didn't have to do the relay to correct the hyper flash .. That was a PITA!

AZ part number LM449. Toyota flasher. It’s like 19.99 in my neck of the woods. And mine came out minus the cover with a firm pull on the connector. Thought about shoving it back in the cover but that thought quickly passed by.

Funny how the daily is the money pit & the weekend car gets no love
Haven’t seen a Prius-specific tutorial but it seems pretty straightforward. The kit I’m looking at now is currently installed so I’ll be taking lots of photos where the air lines and wires were ran so I can directly swap to my car. Just wanting to quiet down compressor noise so I’m adding a couple layers of sound deadener.

The originals lasted 182 k miles and were much slower to recover when compared to te KYB’s:).

    Looks good! Wasn't that easy? :) :)
Did you clean the cooling fan for the battery while you had all that apart? Maybe take the top off the battery and see if
the wiring harness was corroded and clean it if it was? :)
