Has anybody taken photos of "scenes from a backup camera"? I think this could be an interesting new art format!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(terri @ Aug 5 2006, 03:39 PM) </div> The challenge is to back up near something photographable! Or... stage a little scene at the right height, in the right spot, and then take a picture of what your backup camera sees there. ex: still life... big wheel in the driveway or.. an interesting sign on a street corner The possibilities are endless!
A few weeks ago I was showing a friend the cool stuff on my Prius and put it in reverse to show the camera at the exact moment someone's bottom was in perfect, framed view.

Just got my Prius on Monday and went to show it to an art school friend... we both thought this would make an interesting photo project, I'm sad to see no one has taken the challenge on Priuschat.com! I will try to get one up here soon. (edit: spelling)
Yeah, LOL!  When I first brought the car to my parents' house to show it off the day after picking it up, I told my little brother to get behind me so I could test the reverse camera and show my mom how it worked. I said "Stay there!" and took the picture, then started reversing towards him...he was clowning around. He did jump out of the way in time. For the record, I was barely moving.
Ha! I only wish I could hit a button on my steering wheel to snap a pic or video and save it on the car computer... then send via bluetooth to my email!!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(aaf709 @ Aug 23 2006, 10:37 AM) </div> Except you'd have to be in reverse in order for the reverse camera to work...that could be dangerous if someone's tailgating you on the freeway. And I've noticed that the reverse camera makes objects look much further away than they really are.
