Be careful when having your windows tinted. HUD could fry!

    As i understand that cars with HUD have special coating on the section of the screen where HUD is projected. It is possible that by installing window tint film you are changing the surface finish.

    I would suggest anyone getting a front windshield tint to tape a cover over the HUD projector then. That way it won't get wet during installation.
