Must be nice to live somewhere that air conditioning is optional (try the US Gulf South sometime!) I actually got rid of my 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid (nowhere near the gas mileage, but a nice, small SUV, nonetheless) because the ICE ran the A/C compressor (replaced with the 2004 Prius with the electric compressor)
Next up, try coming down from the mountains, such as Mt. Rainier National Park to the lowland urban zone, without a traffic jam. My Gen3 has managed to keep its trip MPG over 100 for upwards of 90 miles. Considering the B-mode engine brakes losses on my route, a PiP or Prime would have done much better than my Liftback. It is.
My electric car looks like that, all day every day, for the past 3 years Only difference being that the average MPG display would be an infinity symbol
Lol ya I do up hill and downhill for my daily commute. I still get low 30s which is way better than my other car going up hill.
