Hi Everyone, I'm the relatively new owner of a 2014 Prius 2 with 50,000 miles. I want to say thank you. This forum was very helpful in assessing the condition of the vehicle and in performing the subsequent maintenance and needed repairs. For example, I just took apart the back and cleaned out the HV fan, as the previous owner took his dogs everywhere in the Prius. It's wonderful how everyone is so helpful and I hope to do my part to contribute in the future. So thank you!
===== Toyota does have a filter that snaps over the intake opening on the right side of the back seat. I have dogs also and was looking for something to filter out the hair and not stop air flow. I also put a thin semi-foam filter also. It is a large hole type. It stops the hair. PART NUMBER: HV Battery-G92DH-47010 About $15 from Toyota. I am not sure what year but the Prius did come with one before 2010 and then they starting installing one I "think" 2016? But I am not positive.
