Okay...it's clear I'm a newbie Primer and still getting used to the new whistles and bells, but I'm also looking for well-loved features from my 2015 PIP. Yesterday, the frantic search for the Cabin Filter button was met with frustration and defeat. Can't find any reference to the Cabin Filter button in the Prime-Advanced manual or on-line. Has it been removed?

yep, one of the reasons i haven't traded up. don't need it often, but when i do, it's a real blessing.

i didn't even know what it was when i bought my pip. a very useful feature which toyota has moved on from, like so many others.

i use mine mostly behind smelly buses, trucks and dusty construction sites. worked well while driving through a large area of downwind fire smoke too.

Funny, used mine yesterday (in the 2014) when stuck behind a diesel truck in traffic--worked great!

I have only ever used it once or twice to see what it does (and wasn’t really noticeable), but now you guys have piqued my interest and I will experiment with it more!

I used it to help cool the interior when getting into a hot car, to clear the stink when passing skunk smell or other air pollution, to clear the cabin after "you know what", and if the cabin air felt stale. Yup, missing the button!

Yup. I had the Bionz filter, or whatever that was called, in my 2010. My wife was not happy that wasn't on the Gen4 or the Prime. I also miss my real leather steering wheel that was on the 2010 level 5. Three steps forward, two steps back. I do love my Prime, though.

That button just closes the vent 100% (recirc is about 80% recirculated air, 20% fresh air).

It worked yesterday at the garbage disposal.

makes a uge difference though, 20% of stink is still 100% stinky. how much did they save by decontenting?
