all, I have another long thread I posted here explaining my situation, feel free to check it out, if you wish. For the sake of simplicity, however, here's what I'm looking for... 2005 to 2010 (guess you guys call it a Gen 2) for under $5,000. I would REALLY prefer to buy private, but it's proving a bit of a challenge, as most dealers clog the private party sections of sites like Craigslist, Autotrader, etc. pushing their wares. If anyone knows of a reputable dealer (do they exist?) that normally has used Prius' in my price range in the NY/NJ/CT areas, please let me know. I realize I'm looking at higher miles at my price point, but this is all I can afford for now. On the off chance any member in the NY/NJ/CT area is looking to sell their own Prius, I am obviously very interested, and please PM me or post here what you have.
When you talk about a Prius enthusiast, this Prius is for sale in the area you mention: Star Trek themed 2007 Prius Just one option, still might be for sale. Might be worth checking with Doc Willie.

You’ve done all you can to get a hold of Doc. He doesn’t come around much these days, so I’d have a back up plan just in case the “historically significant” shuttle car is with a new owner. Good luck with your purchase decision .
