So below my 2008 Prius, I noticed these hanging lower than they should. I looked around and felt in there that it feels like something I can nut and bolt back up. Can anyone help me locate the correct part or parts to fix this ? Is this something that is needed or should I just... pull it off ?
Mine was loosened at the driver side from the front. Driving at highway the air pressed it down to the ground grinding off about 20% of its length. I simply replaced the part with a used one. Originally there are some different kind of plastic nuts, but -> you can simply fix it with some nuts and perhaps some additional washers. (At the bottom of the car are some threaded bolts.)
M6 nuts (metric 6mm regular thread). I've used some self locking (with a polymer ring) nuts made of stainless steel.
Thank you so much ! I'm going to grab some tonight to get that fixed asap I'll post results tomorrow !
So I went under last night to work on the covers. It looks like I'm pretty much SOL unless I wanna replace the entire part itself. I looked to see if there was any further places I can attach a nut and bolt and sadly there wasn't other than the few places that were already covered. Guess I gotta find the part to replace them. So if anyone has any idea what part # it is I would greatly appreciate it. Gen 2 prius : passenger and driver side underbelly covers near the doors.
Maybe #11 here? Floor & Rails for 2008 Toyota Prius | Toyota Parts There's a right and left case, different part numbers. You can search Ebay etc for those part numbers too.

Just remember McGeorge Toyota Parts. I can't even get them to ship up here, but a good info resource.
Well good news ! My folks I work with helped me solve my issue in a quick and easy/cheap way ! 3$ got me 20 extreme weather zip ties ( up to 185*F and -40*F). I ended up finding a great way to keep both ends up and out of the way. Here's what it looks like, it was done to both ends on both sides.
