Even more so in Canada. They were quite pricey and did not have the same level of equipment as the US model. (so not only was it more expensive, we weren't getting the same features).
Just curious - were these four all 2017 models? I believe in 2017 Toyota only sold Primes in Quebec, and based on successful sales there, they released Primes to the rest of Canada. These could be leftover cars from the 2017 Quebec experiment. We had to special order our 2018 and bought it sight unseen. I did test drive a 2017 regular gen4 Prius they had in stock as I had never driven any kind of Prius prior to that. This is the first car I've ever bought before test driving, but I have no regrets at all. In mixed highway/city driving we are averaging 98mpg (it would be higher if I could ever figure out how to mate those free courtesy chargers to the car!)
