flood car that is hydro-locked? could the rear impact force fuel from the gas tank into the crankcase like a lawn mower with a stuck float?

And if it is out, three steps: push in, flip up, push down.

what a Bastard thing to do, selling a fairly new Prius with so many problems.
To start I would say it is still under warranty, but I don't know if that applies in Pakistan. If the dealer is too far, that could be another problem. So, you must fix it yourself or find a exceptional Hybrid Mechanic.
What the previous comment or might have said is: many problems can and do occur when the oil is overfilled.
So your first job is to drain the oil out of the engine, save it, you MAY be able to reuse it. Then check the air filter, if you think it's dirty, change it. Absolutely change the oil filter. Just this will keep you busy over the weekend. Also the air throat is probably saturated with oil, all the oil must be cleaned out with clean rags and the sensor in the center of the throat. This is called the air mass sensor, it's delicate, so be careful. There should be NO OIL OR RESIDUE IN,ON THE WALLS, FLOOR OF THE AIR THROAT.
Just curious, how many miles on it? And, what did you pay for it?
I'm going to look at the other pics and Im sure many members will give you more support
Try to find history of car.

Yes, I saw that, if you can't test a car first, don't buy it.

Get as many numerical trouble codes as you can and then our Geniuses will translate them into useable information. Engine oil pressure shortage, sounds bad.

If you get oil pressure and mechanical moving engine parts MOVE OK, then rebooting at a good 12 V Bat plus rebooting at Power Switch at least twice. If at this point you get a ready light, your good to go.

    Don’t own a 2016, so I can’t say.

I agree, it must be mechanically sound first.
