I can confirm that you are seeing, I am seeing the exact same thing. Now before when I was getting 34 miles for full charge, it used to go up. But now since I am only getting a max of 27 miles, so it never crosses above 27 miles, as if it maxes out and even if I am applying brakes, which is generating power to store, but it doesnt show on the display. Similarly if I am doing a force charge i.e., press HV button for 10 seconds and charge shows up, it only goes to a max of 22 miles.
Yep, there is definitely a little room in the battery past "100%." Not much, but some. I see this all the time because I drive down-hill after I charge at home.
37.3 mile r/t trip today and A/C use coming home. All EV and 4% SoC remaining. Consumption meter for the day at 6.8 miles/kWh. Pretty good agreement, which I have come to NOT expect.
When it is cold it tends to start the engine, it is warmer now I don't see ICE on for the same driving condition.
20.6 mile r/t from home to town and back, 47% SoC use. Works out to ~ 44 mile EV range. I've been thinking about returning the car. It does not get anywhere near what the EPA says.
Thanks all! Yes my original post was only days into owning my Prime, so it hadn't really gotten used to my driving style yet. I now get 33+ miles EV when full. Yay! It's fascinating learning about these cars! I've only had 2 (full) fill ups and am getting close to 4,000 miles! I mostly visit gas stations now to clean my super dirty windows. LOL
