Exactly, 3/8th inch to 3/8th inch male to male with two hose clamps closes the cooling loop and prevents the throttle body and surrounding material from heating up to 190+ degrees, which also heats the incoming air and reduces available power.

Absolutely worth doing for any Prius not in Alaska. And it's easily and quickly reversible. Just undo the hose clamps, take off the hoses and quickly reattach to the throttle body if you need to.

ahh.. i didnt do that... im done wiring now, wasent to hard to wire, most frustrating was the feeding part from the mirror into the door and formt he door in the car lol. I took power for the puddle lights from the foot lights inside the car, apparently when i worked on it the lights where on all day... battery was down to 10.9V and it refused to start, park-lock is enabled cause it doesnt have any power what so ever... so now its charging, ive heard people have also gotten that message while driving. Atleast i got in while standing still.

But hey! it worked lol. I wanted the buttons hidden away somewhere so i could just switch the pattern whenever i wanted.
I took power for the puddle lights from the footwell lights on both sides. And i took power for the blinkers (the yellow wire i believe it was... that gives power to the blinkers even when the car is off) from a 7.5A fuse in the interior fuse box, for the green wire (ACC) i still dont know what does i connected to a 10A fuse i already had my front camera system in, next project now is 360 camera, already found a bunch of stuff to make it an easy install, this install will be so i wont loose the parking assist.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But I think that’s the eBay front lip. They have the 2012-2015 version online also.

Beeper is above the front driver side wheel. Must remove plastic wheel well cover to get access to this beeper. I then fished wire into cabin (following the hood release cable that goes through the wheel well and into the cabin). Installed a cheap on/off switch interrupting the loop. Popped the switch next to the dash light dimmer scroll switch, into of the unused cutouts. Relocated the exterior beeper under the hood so I can gain easier access if ever needed.

Disabled interior beeper (reverse beep, seat belt, etc.)

Removed center dash display unit. Open back of it. Popped off beeper housing. Removed inner "diaphragm". Replaced housing. No more beeping of any kind.

And if you noticed the center "flying buttress" is missing, I removed that thing a year ago so I can spread my knees comfortably. Quickly relocated the shifter module lower, but still within reach. (So much more room for my knees and better access to put things in the center shelf without the need to do yoga each time).

Very impressive, but you can also turn the beep off with a simple app and OBD2 scanner.... Screenshot_20180607-132507_Dr%20Hybrid.jpeg Screenshot_20180607-132522_Dr%20Hybrid.jpeg

Yes, I have the Bluetooth OBD II. But:
(1). If I disconnect the battery, I'll have redo ALL my beep settings each time or so I've heard (even with the app, it STILL beeps once for each reverse with the Carista app).

(2). No matter what, it would also STILL beep multiple times when the car was turned on and every time I shifted (As a personal preference, I'd perfer it off. Didn't need beeps my whole life and I still don't want them now).

PLEASE don't bother telling me about the "safety" reasoning behind the beeps. If it makes you feel better, I kept the seat belts and airbags inplace. I don't want the beeps, so I solved that.

really? mine doesnt do that... it keeps all the settings.. becuase all carista settings is factory options that stay even when u kill the car. It saves it and keeps it.

I think toyota made the "beep once" feature because its a hybrid lol, u will be surprised how many thats accidently driven forward when they think its in reverse and stuff... Ive read a few articles about it lol.

And BTW, is that white walls on ur tires?

LOL, IKR! happen to me at school also, i wanted to take a pic of the horizon (my school sits in a very special place lol), so i went out of my car and surprise surprise... it was in drive... lol, i guess the best thing to do whenever u leave the car is to turn it off lol, since it applies the park mode by itself whenever u turn it off.

i think id rather need an "idiot" alarm instead lol, maybe a huge speaker sitting in the front that yells out whenever it feels im going out of the car while its in gear "hey idiot, im in drive, BYE!" in Kevin Hart`s voice lol.

    /// Today ///

Light work at HybridPit, just rolled out. Kicked it with @TK Rocket & a few others (forgot to get their PriusChat handles :ROFLMAO:). Nice to meet y’all- LMK I’ll tag you on edit.

    1. 5MM Ichiba Spacers
Added to my front wheels. Subtle but definitely noticeable difference. The wheels sit way more flush with the fenders now. I’m running 5MM front and 15MM rear on 17” Package Five wheels. The rear can likely run 17-20MM nicely, but I like the 5/15 setup :D.

    2. Window Module (OBDII Reader)
YESS buy this now it’s SO sick hahah (msg @RightOnTime ). Pressing unlock 3x on your key-fob opens all windows, lock closes all windows. Awesome functionality + plugs directly into your OBDII reader.

Getting folding mirrors soon from HybridPit @sfv41901. So “lock” will now close all windows and fold mirrors simultaneously . And if you air out your suspension at the same time you’re basically a God.

    3. Avest Sequential Signals - Mirror
These are dope. Replacing my MIT mirror indicators at the same time folding mirrors are installed.

I did the side skirts of the Plus Kit. Scared to drill the front/rear bumpers but it’s time LOL.

Also @RightOnTime and I working on exhaust ideas... for next time
