Yes, the forums on Prius Chat were very helpful when I bought my 2009. Haven't been active for a few years, but the Prime is light years ahead of the Gen2. So, I'm back for all the expert advice I've come to appreciate from this place.
Yes congrats. I have my prime advanced for 2 weeks. 2017 leftover. Couldnt resist the 4500 toyota rebate extra dealer 500, 1500 state rebate and 4500 tax credit. Had a gen 3 prius and a lexus ct200. The prime is way above the gen3 and more inline with the lexus. Compared to those other 2 hybrids this prius crushes them in mpg. Quality is very high. I went through the whole manual a little at a time while sitting on the driveway. I highly recommend that since this car has so many features. I learned much more than i expected
Yes, the deal was incredible - with all the rebates & tax credits, I paid less for this car than my 2009 Prius Touring with all the bells & whistles available at the time! I think the manual will be on my nightstand for the foreseeable future, where I can read a chapter a night and try to be as smart as my car is!
Congratulations! That is the one I got too. Picked mine up in January and am still loving it. I really love the Remote climate and the fact that my car was nice and toasty in the mornings when it was cold without me having to remember to turn it on every morning. LOL
