Prius Prime - official prices paid thread

I'm referring to new 2017 Primes.....not used....

 

You can turn the HUD off--although I love the HUD.

 

I sent them detailed photos--then we negotiated the OTD price with the trade. They didn't pull anything with me and I drove 6 hours one way....

 

Absolutely--I only discuss one number--the out the door total price....

 

I did have a problem. I had to call them and bingo!

That sounds really good. I was gonna call them but I first checked their inventory online. I also only saw 2 used Prime Premium. No new 2017 Prime any more - guess they made good deals and sold them all.

 

Not sure where you are looking, but Jim Coleman has 30 of the new 2017 Prius Prime Advanced on the lot. Check and make sure you are looking at the Jim Coleman Toyota location.

 

LOL I figured out. The person earlier and also I myself used "Search Inventory" link directly on Google result page, and as you filter you only see 2 used 2017 Prime. But if you use the "Search Inventory" link on the Jim Coleman website, it shows 30.

THAT's a lot of prime advanced, I bet they're willing to make deal. Too bad it's such a long drive, and also NJ has $5K TMS vs $3K from MD. So NJ is still better for me. For southeastern states, probably Jim Coleman offers a great option to purchase prime advanced.

 

Hi Westy, I like your new Avatar! I had a challenging time FINDING the contract ID - once I found it, everything worked ok. If it matters, I was already using the Entune App with our other Prius. Are you doing this via your computer? I can't recall exactly how I did it, as I needed to try various renditions to get it to work, but you also might want to see if the Entune App on your Prime is updated first.

I have heard various people from Cali wanting to get on the east coast deal. I too have been trying to get the right deal on one but now looking back locally.

So who would be interested in a group purchase in So Cal to try an get a better discount? With the goal to make the purchase locally comparable to those big discount over on the other coast.

I first tried to input the ID in the Entune website from my cell phone. When it did not work after several tries I moved to a PC and tried again. On the PC I had the same problem. When I input the ID it says incorrect or invalid ID. I then called Toyota on their 800 number and spent about 45 minutes with tech support. They verified there is a problem but would have to research it and told me they would be in touch. Currently I am waiting for Toyota tech support to contact me.

Love my Prius Prime. Siri Eyes free is great! I hope to try out the Prius specific apps when I get this worked out.

 

You can find your Safety Connect ID in the Safety Connect Subscription Service Agreement (SSA), and it's called Contract ID: located near the top right corner.



The Safety Connect Subscription Service Agreement (SSA) can be downloaded following these steps:-
(1) LogIn to your Toyota Owners account
(2) Move your mouse cursor to the top-left corner where your name is, a menu pops up, click on Manage Vehicles
(3) Under Your Vehicles - Prius Prime, click on the red button Manage Services

(4) On the top-right corner under your name, click on Profile

(5) Click on the box My Vehicle

(6) Finally, Click on Download Agreement


There might be an easy way to get to the download screen, but this is how I managed to get to it even with so many steps.

 

I see a lot of talk about the east cost but all the dealerships mentioned are up north. Is it possible to get this deal in FL?

 

Thank you for your exemplary post. Thanks to you, I bought the last Prime Premium from Balise Toyota in RI for $22,000 before my state tax. I flew from Dallas to RI using points and stayed on the way back at a Courtyard using points. I only spent $63 in gas driving it back. There are no manufacturer's rebate in my state. I really enjoyed using the Dynamic Cruise Control on my drive.

Probably not. I called Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethesda Maryland (ask for Amar) and made the deal...then drove up there to sign the paperwork--almost 7 hours one way. Jim Coleman has 30 2017 Advanced...they are dealing. You can always make the deal and fly up there. Good luck!

 

Thanks for the help. I actually have my contract ID but the problem is when I input it in to register and open up the Prime specific apps it says it’s incorrect or invalid. I have confirmed that I am inputting the correct ID. I am still waiting for Toyota to get back in touch with me on this issue.
