Hoping to buy and get into Kayaking, so I'm looking for a roof rack for my 2012 Prius. Preferably to pick up around the Bay Area, CA.
If you don’t mind piecing one together, I’m selling a pair of brand new Thule ARB53 load bars for a Gen3 Prius. All you’d need are the 480R foot packs and the 1566 fit kit from Thule, which you can find used for another $200 or so. Retail for the ARB53 is $199+tax — I can do $150 shipped to Bay Area.
There might be a warranty card to send out inside the box, but I don’t see why one would ever need to setup a claim. These bars are very rigid and will definitely exceed your expectations.
Thanks, but I'm hoping to just buy a complete set. It would be more hassle to piece together 1 at a time imo. I've seen few ARB53 + 480R for $300, and I'm still not sure if that is a good deal.
