It's just Black. I believe that there is no such thing as pure black - some have got fairly close, but gloss black won't be anything like pure black.
i ordered a install kit from metra and they sent a shinny black square to fill in gaps when i changed stereo but when sun hits it there a distinct differnt color from Toyota's black to metra black are completely differnt i want to paint the white shift plate same color as black bezel i see the flacks in the black also
You'll have to colour match it - there are so many blacks available. A good paint shop should be able to help, or a spray painter. Some of the best spray painters are involved with Hot Rod conversions if you don't get satisfaction elsewhere.
