Does anyone know if when using this app once you pay for it it will keep your reverse beeping turned off even without OBD2 sensor plugged in or does it always have to be running and you have to have an active subscription to the app for it to always work or does it completely change the car for good until you turn it back? Not sure I want to Shell out the money and only have the beep gone for a week for $10 yes. Or am I not understanding how this works.
As long as you don't disconnect your 12V battery. Doing so will reset all of your ECU's and will revert your reverse beeping back to stock.
I know this is an older thread but the info needs to be correct, even if you disconnect the 12v all settings will stay intact. No matter if you paid once and canceled or if you do not have the device connected to the OBD port.
