Yeah i had full bag of long zip ties but no help from those. Luckily that oil/fuel/pcv hose what i bough fall was not costing alot. More of that and maybe routing some way else is the key.

Yeah, routing/mounting is addictive. You pick a half-decent spot, then need to restrain yourself for a while. Engineering process is often like that.

The oil catch can is a winner for the 1.8 engines, that grime would have been ingested right back into combustion chamber causing real mayhem! My brother in law has a 2011 corolla 1.8, his PVC valve same mid block location, but throttle body mounted up higher on driver side of manifold, going to install OCC and test on that set up next week.

Well!, this bracket was made from some scrap I found at Roswell NM, but I believe some aluminum angle from Lowe's will make quick work out of it.

Here's a install on an 2011 corolla S, bracket only required a 1" section of angle stock, mounted to battery hold down bolt.

Looks good but must be kinda pain to remove it for cleaning. Well after second look you can just undo the 1 bolt not that bad.

Just the one, I did have to grind down the top of the oil catch can dip stick about 1/8", it was almost touching the hood.

Been so busy that my OCC installation back is late. But today i modded my OCC tubes little bit: removed tube clamps and secured hoses with shrink tube what also has glue.
    Gotta try to install these.

Yeeaaahhh Booyyy!!!, . . . . .Here's an opportunity for an entrepreneur to build some "start to finish" OCC kits for Prius Gen III's.

Moroso sells kits, but it seems to be mostly, if not all, for US vehicles. Basically you get one of their OCC's, plus a custom bracket and instructions. Even if you're just buying their OCC and jury-rigging something, it's worthwhile to watch a few of the install videos.

I kinda prefer cobbling my own; it's not that hard, and allows you to optimize, what works for you. With our low mileage and a six month oil change interval, I'm fine with a mounting bracket down below, which requires removal of the engine underpanel.

But someone with higher mileage, longer oil change interval, I can see the need to mount it accessible from the top. It does make for more circuitous plumbing though, mounting locations are tight, and it obviously doesn't look stock, which may or may not work for you.

At 178 k miles and a 10 k mile OCI, I still put ours low;).

I check every weekend for spooge buildup, but a small layer exists (less than an ounce or 2):).

    Go low(y).
