To start things off I disconnected the Aux battery in the rear - side and also removed the plug/key (orange thing) for the HV battery. I then proceeded to remove the inverter as well as the entire engine. Long story short i had the dreaded knocking misfire noise and Toyota wanted to replace my whole motor. I went ahead and did the work. I put everything back to normal but now when I push the start button all I get is a blank dash nothing shows up on my display. All my door lock switches, rear brake lights, etc dont work. I had my battery load tested and it passed with flying colors. I can hear the fans turn on for my HV battery. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Check fuses related to the ECUs. Do you get aux power at the lighter outlets?

This has happened to people here before. One of the most common fixes is to make sure that the safety plug is seated. It has to be snapped in properly to function. This video comments on it and how to ensure it is correctly installed. Good luck.....

It seems like there's a clue here in that the battery cans run but nothing else. But I don't know what it would be Just for the fun of it, have you double-checked the 12V battery connections including the ground to the car's body and the small connector on the positive clamp assembly? Could be something loose maybe. Actually, it's surprising that you hear the HV battery fans because I never hear mine except at the end of a drive where I've been in EV mode doing 55 mph or more.

Yeah I made sure it has a connector with two pins that connect.

I made sure all connections were in tact on the battery. I even checked to see if any of the other connectors on the hybrid batt were loose. I only hear the fans because that is all that is coming on when i depress the brake and press power.

not sure what you mean by 'connector with 2 pins that connect', but the orange safety plug needs to be inserted, snapped down, and slid to the right.

Yeah that orange safety is inserted and snapped down. That part that sings to the left and slide in to snap has a connected with pins in it, once you slide it in the pins are inserted to the connector on the opposite end.

Where are these fans? Mine does not run any fans except the hvac if it's turned on. If I don't have the radio, the vents, or the AC running, when I power up, it's silent except for the chime if I haven't yet closed the door and buckled up.

Right. It's usually done by the time I pop my phone into it's bracket.

Ok just wanted to update this. I ended up taking the car to the dealership and was told it was a fuse under the hybrid computer. Along with the timing being off by 3 teeth. Also in their possession they found the air fuel sensor bad and it was also replaced. I called them yesterday to pick up the vehicle and they said it was ready to go. I end up starting the car in their lot and step out to speak to the service rep. Once i get back in the "Check hybrid system" is on. I left the car there and today got a call from the service guy explaining to me that the inverter is bad and was a result of wires being crossed from the original repairs when i replaced the motor. It really doesn't add up to me and the service rep tells me that the "check hybrid system" doesn't show up right away.

Are there any hybrid service techs on here that can tell me that the inverter after it has crossed still work and not show the issue right away once the vehicle is started and driven for about 20-30 miles? Is it even possible to start the car with a bad inverter?

    just a little recap:

Service rep tells me that the wires of the inverter was crossed before they got the car which resulted in a bad fuse. The dealership receives the car fixes the fuse and other little things and drive the car around a supposed 20-30 miles with no issues result in "check hybrid system". Soon as I start the car after paying for service the "check hybrid system" shows up and get a phones call telling me the inverter is bad and it needs to be replaced.

Sorry for any grammatical issues just frustrated and feeling the like the dealership is pulling a fast one on me.

I would think its common sense that the issue will show within those 20-30 miles driven by the dealership or right away when they start the car, but according to the service rep it doesn't work that way because its a hybrid.

"calling any hybrid service techs please help"
