does anyone here know if you can polish or remove micro scratches from the screen? And if so what with? I purchased a slightly used 2016 prius pkg 4 and the previous owner must have had talons for fingernails which left scratches on the screen. It’s annoying me to distraction and I would love to get rid of or make them less visible.

Is this a 2010 IV or a 2016 4 (profile says one, message the other)?

If it's Gen 4, I think the screen is glass - it's unusual that it's showing wear unless they used a stylus to select items (like was supplied with my GPS). Have you tried automotive polish which polishes glass well?

As I said, I just purchased a 2016 pkg 4. I haven’t been on here much lately and I have not updated my 4 year old profile. This isn’t caused by a stylus. Around the tune and volume knob it’s scratched around those, the center of the screen has swirl and line scratches from where the buttons were pressed.

I have used toothpaste to polish out scratches on plastic two-way radio displays. Put a tiny amount on a soft cloth and make small circular motions. I would recommend you try it on an area of the screen that won't bother you if it doesn't work out. Of course, you do this at your own ristk.

Can you photo it? It's hard photographing glass though.

I think the screen is glass - are the scratches indented - or could they be residue left by nail lacquer? Try some car polish?
