I recently bought a Prius Prime Premium, but didn't realize that most of the safety features I thought were standard on the Prime were only available on the Advanced model. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket option for the following items: install a steering wheel warmer is there any remote control device option to turn on the heat in the car while it's plugged in outside Thanks in advance!
There are generic steering wheel heaters you can purchase for any car. Middle trim (premium) has a remote ac function that kinda works for preconditioning the car. You have to set the a/c settings before turning off the car though.
What about ordering the steering wheel that comes on the Advanced model. It would have the heating element built in then just add the switch and wire the circuit.
not sure if there are different part numbers or if the light is included on lower trims but there's also a steering wheel heater light in next to the MFD
