Does anyone know how to remove the center console? I want to tap in another 12v cigarette lighter connection. Or does anyone know if the rear cigarette adapter could be popped out by itself?
Yes, you can easily pop out the whole back panel of the cigarette adapter (the one facing the rear seats at the bottom of the center console) and there is lots of spaces inside for you to put all your wires and stuff. But be careful not to interfere with the wires at the bottom, which I'm not sure what those are for. Open the arm rest door, then use both hands to pull out the back panel staight towards you:
