WTB Gen 2 grid / hybrid charger preferably with discharge and harness, but will consider working chargers without. Would also consider renting, somewhere between Monterey and San Francisco Bay.

    Welcome to Prius Chat (y).

I share the Prolong equipment with another member here (@SFO )in the Bay Area ( I live in Fairfield and he lives in the city).

Tell us more about your Prius and if you want to buy the Prolong Gen2 Harness, we can probably work something out:).

    Keep us posted (y).

@Raytheeagle Really, that would be great.
I have a non-starting 2004 my mechanic says needs to be charged before he can further diagnose. Any help much appreciated. I will attempt to private message you directly.

    More about the Prius:

I have a 2004 that won't start sitting at my mechanics shop. A whole world of hurt I have entered beginning with newbie out of gas mistake.

    Original code was P3193
Pending codes were P0171 and P3193

Ran batteries down troubleshooting (clearly I had no idea about this gem of a place called priuschat / newbie101).

Apparently, I enjoy stepping on my own foot seeing as I let the car sit since last summer, when I got a second replace inverter diagnosis I had to save up for. Now trying to resuscitate this poor thing after reading and weeping over Prius101 last night. I'm like a poster child of what not to do.

Anyway, now the P0A80 code has been added and my mechanic wants to try charging first before a second inverter. Do you think the Prolong could help?

How many miles on the 2004?

Curious why it needs a new HV inverter, did it throw a code?
