So i've had the Prime for a month now and have done the following: -Debadged sides/rear -Tint - Llumar CTX 15% all around (no windshield though i'll be going back in for LLumar Air 80) -Lowered on RS*R springs -Enkei NT03+M 17x7.5" 35 Offset
Agreed, very very nice ! Please report back after a few hundred miles about your lowering springs & 17" wheel/tire choice concerning your opinions on how they effected handling and performance. Rob43
Thanks! I got the rims/tires/springs installed on Saturday so i've driven about 300 miles on them so far. The mileage hasn't gone down that i've noticed. The ride is imo much improved over stock. The springs lowered it just a little so driving around is the same, I don't worry about speed bumps, etc any more than I did before lowering it. The car does feel more planted especially over uneven portions of road. The stock suspension always felt floaty in comparison.
Well, that's what I call a win win... If you could give an extended update maybe past 1K miles that would be appreciated by all. Curiously what brand, model, & exact size tire did you choose ? Rob43
Will do. As far as the tires, they are Kumho Ventus V2 Concept2's. I just went with these on the suggestion of the shop that installed the rims/tires w/o doing any research beforehand. They seem to be just fine especially considering the dry climates of socal (read that wet performance is not that great).
The part # is T581D TOYOTA PRIUS PRIME DOWN SUS SPRINGS 2017+ | RS-R USA Supposed to be 1" front/.8" rear though I didnt measure it before and after the install.
