Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack for 2017 Prius Two

    I’m having my car in for some repair work that includes taking off the outer rear bumper assembly. I want to take advantage of the occasion to put on a trailer hitch receptacle for a bike rack, but the repair shop doesn’t seem to be able to find one that will fit.

    Can anyone recommend some makes and models and where I can find them?

    Take a look at Draw-Tite #24944, looks good and does a good job with a bike rack.

    Thanks! I honestly did not realize the cost of a trailer hitch plus installation plus bike rack was going to cost as much or more than my bike. ($500-$600+)

    Can you do it yourself? Can it be done without pulling off the back bumper assembly?

    If the shop does not know how to find a trailer hitch, I think it is time to find a new repair shop. ;)

    I agree with 17Prius4. Find another shop. Uhaul will set you up with a hitch and bike hauler for under $400.00.
