Prius Prime - official prices paid thread

I'm curious to know if anyone could forward me some info for dealers used in NJ since I'm currently looking to upgrade my 07 Prius into a new prime, hopefully advanced. I spoke to one dealer in Tom's river and they would not budge from 34k which I found to be laughable, but this was also just a few months after they started selling. I'll keep reading over the thread but any info while I'm browsing 65 pages is greatly appreciated.

 

The discount you are being offered seems to be competitive from my recent shopping experience. Ultimately though no one can tell you what a good deal is, you need to decide if the final number works for you and your budget.

As for the finance rates you are correct TFS will not do the 0.9% interest if you take the rebate. In my personal experience their rates were not competitive with other banks when taking the rebate. The rates we saw in our area were around 2.9%, but we were able to do a bit better shopping around on our own and not using the dealers finance department.

 

Even with the 2018 model already hit some dealership, there is no way we can see this deal in SoCal....

 

Picked up a 2017 Prime Plus for $20,500 plus TTL, and before any federal/state tax credits. Took advantage of the $4500 northeast rebate (but not the military or student rebates).

The 2017 prime seats four. But each of the two in the backseat sit comfortably because Toyota decided that two rear seat passengers would be more comfortable than a tight fit 3

 

so you don't think 2019 will have 5, even if a lot of people have said they won't buy a 4 seater?

 

I don’t think the Prius Prime will be changed to seat five, I believe the Standard Prius would be the market for that. Also I heard that this is the last year for Prius V version.

I’ve sat in the back of my Prius Prime, And it’s relatively roomy and comfortable. It’s main competition the Chevy Volt claims to seat five… But it’s more of a vesticle piece that would be very cruel to put someone in between.

I got this from Toyota of Wellesley.

They had a dark grey one and a blue one. I picked the blue one since wife liked it. The dark grey should still be available which looked incredible to me as well.

Call and ask for Brad (manager). Tell him the guy who bought the blue advanced prime a day ago sent you there. (I don't get any referrals or incentives =) ).

PS. My quoted price before tax and fees after 4500 rebate, 1250 grad rebate and dealer discount was actually about 25100. Even better.

i usually shop there. over the internet, they wouldn't budge from the posted $1,355. discount, which means there's another 2 grande to be had.
i graduated 40 years ago, so that $1,250. is probably a no go.
