Did a search and this hasn't been asked in a few years. With all the Toyota hybrids running around this area, there has to be an independent mechanic who specializes in them. I think someone assumed that in the 2014 thread as well, but might as well check again. I ask because I'm due for some maintenance at 100k here, and the first dealer quote I got was insane in my opinion. I know a regular old mechanic can do most of the work if they have half a brain, but would prefer to use someone who knows Toyota hybrids and the Prius for the day when it is a more complicated problem. Appreciate any feedback.
Hmm, not sure how I didn't see that one. Unfortunately it appears the expert Prius shop still seems to be non-existent around here.
