AISIN fluids preferred?

    I am looking to replace coolant and transmission fluid. Is AISIN the preferred brand other than Toyota brand?

    i'm not sure i have heard of a preferred brand beyond oem.

    Mobil 1 motor oil are often on offer at dealerships. Up here it's $10~12 per liter, vs $4.54~$6.00 for Toyota (depending if I buy bulk vs bottled): no contest.

    I am just thinking AISIN is the parts supplier for Toyota, thinking it is the OEM equivalent.

    ATF WS is one of the rare fluids where Toyota does not say "or equivalent" Get the real stuff. (and two washers)

    Those washers are expensive, but it's a once in a long while thing.
