The UX is based on the CH-R Excel is a UK trim level. Poland's trim levels are Active, Premium and Prestige (base, mid, top level).
Gas prices have only remained low for the last three or four years because they’re subsidized like mad. Not that they haven’t been before, but the easy oil is gone and the oil companies make no return on investment per barrel, since fracking is the main method here now. I’d be happy to hear the screams of the SUV and Truck owners when it hits 4-5 bucks a gallon, but trouble is, the only thing keeping the economy afloat is fairly low priced gas.
We have the Excel model in the UK, its the top trim level. We have Active, Business Edition, Business Edition Plus and Excel
Aha - another international variation. For a relatively niche vehicle (except in Japan), the differences are myriad.
lol. The complexities of building a world car. The Gen 3 Prius had 8 different audio systems with the 9th option being an "Audio Pre-Wire with 4 speakers" (i.e. no radio)
Maybe not fluent in English, but pointing out the American cheap finance options not available elsewhere. Not that if be interested in one, but UK has the hybrid available. Just gonna say that @Harters and @Tideland Prius had already said it. Could it be a Euro-thing?
You guys are no longer part of the EU I think it is a UK thing. The UK also calls the "Prius Prime" the Prius Plug-In". The EU calls it the Prius PHV.
If only! Were still paying in and won't be out for another year. Till then we've been hobbled and continue to pay politicians good money to haggle endlessly and make little progress. Now DON'T start me off, my master fuse is approaching incandescent!!!!!
You know you're a geek when you know the two letter top level domains (TLDs) for just about all of the countries in the world. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I'm from Poland and I can use google Is this a problem? Btw. Prius was removed from price list in Poland some time ago, it was not very popular here because there is Auris Hatchback and Touring Sport (now Corolla) and C-HR.
Nope. We were just expecting a Polish advert! Well those are options are cheaper than the Prius. We just got the Corolla hybrid in sedan form and it is priced lower than the Prius. We'll see how it will affect Prius sales (which are already declining in the US). I can see taxis jumping on board as long as they don't need the extra height (they were using Prius v's when it came out.. before hand, just 3rd generation Prii). I suspect with the Prius v gone, it'll diverge with some drivers opting for the Corolla Hybrid (for lower cost) and others for the RAV4 Hybrid (for similar cargo capacity and fuel economy). There may be a few that opt for the regular Prius Liftback (and I have seen a handful of Gen 4 taxis both pre and post facelift but none are AWD)
