Prius hybrid 2008 back camera installation

    Hello Guys!

    I have Toyota prius 2008 (as attached) and I am just wondering if its possible to attach back camera to the display screen? I bought a back camera and sensor from wish. My mechanic told me the display screen not compatible with back camera installation and thts why installed it on rear view mirror. Thanks

    Are you sure that your Prius is a 2008? Because if you have a 2008 with navigation you should definitely have a backup camera, however the 2004-2005 model didn't have a backup camera. Also, you posted this in the Prius Prime section, not the Gen 2 Prius one, so you might want to ask the mods to move it.

    Thanks mate. I am sure its toyota Prius 2008 with Nav. But somehow this model didnt come with in built back camera function. When I asked the owner he gave me the rear view mirror with camera
