Yup! Better than the Prime, which apparently has no tire, no strap, and no place to fasten the strap.

Thanks, I saw the manual, but I found nothing about what would the auxiliary box contain

The lower part with black stripes holds the boot cover when you need to put it away

I was curious so I checked my storage and it looks very similar to Jerry’s picture, I have attached my own.

There is a strap which I have never used and presume it is the spare tie down strap, and the other compartment is empty. Granted I did buy the car used and it was missing a couple other accessories, it seems the consensus is nothing came in that space, as peculiar a shape as it is.

On a similar note (and sorry, don’t mean to hijack the thread, but it is somewhat relevant), I was skeptical about the usefulness of the narrow deep space behind the battery, but it is actually the perfect size for all the necessary tools I need to cart around. A spare jug of washer fluid fits perfect in the ‘bulge’ part, and around that I keep a DC electric air pump, traction aids, tire plug repair kit, a few random tools like screwdrivers, emergency toque, scarf and gloves (it is Canada where I am, eh!), and of course the charge cable which I tri-fold and it results in the perfect length to lay nicely across the top and the lid closes clean.

That space seems quite a bit smaller on the Prime... o_O

Yes, that's what it is and I'm using it for that now.

I have a similar assortment in that space. Except that I keep the 120V EVSE coiled on the rear deck for quick access at work or church. I keep my 240V EVSE plugged in at home.

I finally got to see a Prime at a dealership. I agree with that assessment. :(

One end of the roll-up cargo cover stores here when you don't need it. Still, I have no idea what the other 2 shapes are for.

The long, skinny one could be the for the power-out accessory (to allow the owner to plug in appliances or use the HV battery as an emergency power backup)

    That seems plausible to me.

That cavity to the right always looks to me like a place to lay Aladdin's Lamp on its side.
