    hi there,
I brought a used 2012 prius V and I want to replace my suspension and perform 65K maintenance. It is way to expensive taking it to Toyota Dealer, therefore would you recommend me a reliable and trustworthy Prius mechanic in Seattle area that I can go to ?

    Thanks in advance.

@WA_PriusOwner @bisco I am looking to buy a used Prius V and move to seattle. One of the car sales man I spoke to really scared me saying, it's FWD is not really safe with rainy and hilly areas such as Seattle. Can you guys please let me know your experience with it and what's the mpg you getting?

Nonsense. As Bisco says, all it needs are tires with good grip.

Everyone once in a while we're reminded of how to tell when a car salesman is lying...when his lips are moving.

No need of apologies. He was also showing me a RAV4 hybrid. I think you have a point.

I've been driving FWDs in and near Seattle since before you were born, and this is the first time I've heard this claim.

It is BS. As Bisco said, just make sure you have decent tires for the wet. California has a thinner minimum tread requirement than here and most other states. Tires with thin tread that is still sufficient for dry roads down there, may well be inadequate for our very wet roads.

i never did find it, and haven't seen any posts since. i would start a new thread with seattle in the totle like this one. google hybrid repair shops, post them here and see if anyone has had experience with them
