If I set the temperature then press the auto button on the touchscreen, then deactivate a/c, will the system still self regulate?
It might not get hotter then your set temp, but it won't get cooler, and it will struggle with the cooling. I find that above 32 in rain the ac is needed to keep the car windows from fogging, and any temp higher it helps overall.
