After messing around with my HV battery, replacing some cells, reconditioning bus bars, and getting error after error about my battery, I decided to stop messing with it and pull the trigger on a Green Bean unit, which will be installed tomorrow in my driveway. They have been growing well as a company and I couldn't really find any bad reviews about their service or their product. Yes, I did find a few failures, but they were promptly taken care of in quick fashion. That means a lot - especially since their batteries are no longer pro-rated and are 100% replacement over the 5 year warranty period. No extra costs, no deposits, no shipping, nothing, to have that battery replaced under warranty. Additionally, they make some improvements to the ECU, update the bus bars to nickel plated units, and update anything else in the battery that may need it.

Are they new batteries? No, but that's okay if they work and perform as advertised. Even with new modules from the factory, you still have to worry about swapping everything over and component condition. Yes, you can ohm the sensor harness, the relays, and the grounds, but you can't test your ECU. Most of us don't have the time, knowledge, tools, and extra vehicle at our disposal to take this time to do so.

I'm looking forward to owning mine and reporting on my ownership experience.
