16 or 17 in wheels

    I totally agree here with going with 16s instead of 17s.... I want an upgrade in esthetics, but not at a compromise of ride quality and mpg....
    As much as people with 17s on PC claim their ride quality is “fine” it has to be more harsh than 16s
    If I wanted to look super cool and get huge rims, I wouldn’t have chose a prime lol

    Don't fret...Many of us don't see huge rims as super-cool...I personally like the look of a 50 or 55 aspect tire...205/55/16 is my favorite look on a Prius. Lower aspect ratios than 50 looks proportionately off to me...45s are pretty close so it's not like you would be one of those Mega-SUVs (Cadillac, Lincoln, etc.) with 35 or lower tires and really look bizarre. Again, my opinion

    Niche 17x8. curent tires: 215x45x17. Would it be possible to put 235x55x17 tires with out rub ??? Thanks
