I have a Prime on order but am looking for a used Prius for my wife. Anyone have one, or know of anyone who has one for sale? This car will be a commuter so I'm not looking for an expensive, newer car. I just thought I'd check here on a site with enthusiasts since sorting through the CraigsList posts is a bit insane and you never know what you will get. People here seem to take better care of there vehicles. Reply here or PM me if anyone has something or knows of a car I might be interested in. For budget I'm open but less it better since it will just drive maybe 15 miles per day roundtrip for commuting.
Buying from craigslist is the same as buying from this forum. Just have to check service records and possibly do an inspection at the dealer. No guarantees forum members treat their cars any better SM-N900P ?
Recognized and understood. My thoughts are if someone seeks out a forum and is an active participant then I trust them more (how much I'm not sure) than a random on CL. I will obviously do my research with any offers that come through here but I think I'd have an easier job here. That's all.
Many members come here looking for help when they've neglected their cars. So you would need to find a member that's been a long time participant. Those members really don't want to sell their cars. I have an extra car to sell but I really have a hard time parting with it lol. They are such good cars. SM-N900P ?

6/4/ 2017 - Because of family and other issues that have just come up I will not be selling my 2010 Prius right now.
My wife wants a CT200h so I would be willing to let one of ours go.. Her 2010 has just under 100K and my 2008 has 111K The Dealers won't give me much so PM me if you are interested.
2008 has 111K What would you like for it? I am in DC so its doubtful, but I might be looking for an excuse for a X-country drive, daughter is in the bay area. They seem expensive in Cali. I am looking at a high option (leather no less) 08 w/ 87K for $5,000 today.
Prime_Time: I have a 2012 Toyota Prius 2 Package, White exterior/gray interior. High mileage at around 178k. Mobil 1 oil changes every 5k miles. Well maintained...changed out the brakes 20K miles ago, new air and cabin filters. It does have a few dings and scratches. This Prius used to be my company car since the beginning until I bought it from the fleet company in 2015 and have driven it ever since. PM me if you'd like to know more or check it out.
